About Pictimate

Pictimate is software for home-improvement contractors, starting with floor coating companies. It gives a contractor a page where a homeowner uploads a photo of their own floor, sees an AI preview of it in the finish they pick, and gets a price range built from that contractor's rates. When the homeowner books, the contractor gets the request by email, with the photo and the range they saw.

The company

Pictimate is a product of Dapperico Inc., a company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We work with contractors in Canada and the United States.

What we make

• Pages for contractors, with the contractor's own finishes, rates and name on every preview. Contractors pay by the month or the year, with no contract.
• Free tools for contractors: the before and after maker and the flake calculator.
• Cost guides for homeowners, listed below, with every price linked to its source.

How we work

• Every preview is labelled as an AI preview. It shows how a finish could look, not a photo of a finished job.
• A homeowner's request goes to the contractor whose page they used or, from a cost guide, to a local installer they agree to. We don't sell it. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
• Prices in our guides come from public sources that we link next to each figure. Our research method explains how each one is checked.

Cost guides
